VI COMMANDO

L/Cpl. Vincent Joseph Burns, formerly of the Cheshire Regiment, served in No.5 Troop of No.6 Commando from, at least, October 1942.

L/Cpl. Burns was Killed in Action during the Battle of Steamroller Farm on 26th February 1943, aged 22 years. Vincent was laid to rest in memorium on the Medjez-El-Bab Memorial (Tunisia) Face 19.
